GMS provides services to prepare an Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) for End-of-Life vessels. Our in-house team of IHM experts boards vessels before delivery to the yard. The samples are collected and sent to the laboratory for analysis. Based on analysis, the IHM is prepared and delivered to the recycling yard. The IHM is the fundamental document for the recycling of ships and offshore assets. It helps to identify and detail the removal of hazardous materials from the ship.
